 BIOGRAPHY

 
After experiences in diverse post-punk bands such as Requiem, Didier Ambact was the drummer of Treponem Pal, a French industrial metal band.

Treponem Pal recorded 4 albums during its career, among which "Excess and Overdrive" produced by Franz Treichler (The Young Gods) and "Higher" by Sascha Koniezko (KMFDM) in Seattle, USA.

The band toured in Europe with Nine Inch Nails, Prong, Carcass, Godflesh or Faith No More, participated in numerous festivals (Printemps de Bourges, Francofolies, Dour...) and it was seen on MTV Europe, Canal+, MCM, M6 and France2.

When Treponem Pal split, Didier Ambact studied sound techniques in INFA and created an experimental music act called Fast Forward.
Then, he took part in the Micropoint and General Dub projects and has remixed bands like Lab°, Dither and Mimetic...

 

Since 2005, he has worked with :

- the French choregrapher Christian Rizzo:

(2005) in collaboration with Gérôme Nox,  "jusquʼà la dernière minute on a espéré que certains nʼiraient pas" (2006), "Opéra(tion) remix", Lille's opera (2007),  "mon amour" (2008) with Gérôme Nox, Bruno Chevillon and Mark Thompkins, "ni cap, ni grand canyon" for the Lyon's opera ballet (2009), "D'après une histoire vraie" (2013) drums duet with King Q4, "Magma" with Marie-Agnès Gillot and Andrès Marin.

He also wrote a poetic diary, “Maison Dieu” published in 2013 by Hugues Facorat Edition.
